The day started at The Wildflower Barn, where we set up tables, decorations, flowers etc etc. Jessica’s dear friend JoAnna was a miracle worker and made sure everything was perfect, while balancing her baby on one hip! What stood out to me is that normally it’s the women that handle all of the set up and details, but not today! Steve, his brother Kevin and their friend Todd took care of so much! My hat is off to you guys! Next it was off to the Brides dressing room to get ready. Jessica’s sisters joined us and Amanda applied Jessica’s make up perfectly, while Colleen styled the girls hair. The second Jessica slipped in to her wedding dress, I couldn’t help but smile. She is a beautiful woman, but I have never seen her look more stunning and full of elegance and grace.
When we arrived at Chapel Dulcinea, Jessica’s father Rick helped her out of the car with a look of pride on his face that only a father looking at his little girl can know. Meanwhile, Steve was awaiting his Bride inside the Chapel, and somehow managed to pull off waiting without looking nervous at all! Guess that’s easy to do when you know you are exactly where God wants you to be! As Jessica was escorted down the aisle by her father, Steves face lit up and a feeling took over inside of that chapel that all was right with the world. Jessica and Steven read heartwarming vows to her daughters, Carolyn and Lexie, and I believe every person in the building was inspired and touched. Jessica’s friend Kim performed the ceremony and her meaningful words filled everyone’s hearts with tenderness and warmth. With the exchange of ‘I do’s and the ringing of the bell, a new family was formed!
Now it was time to party! Back at The Wildflower Barn, the cake was cut, first dance was danced and the bouquet was tossed! The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, smiles, dancing, more dancing and incredible memories were made that will remain cherished in all of our hearts forever. Sharing their wedding day with Jessica, Steve and their families was an absolute pleasure. These two families who are now joined as one, are the model example of tenderness, affection, caring, loyalty and devotion. I'm excited to see their journey over the years and am honored to call them my friends.
Mr & Mrs Williams, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your trust and faith in me. I love y'all,
